I have found several references for 1/4 in per 12 in run.

I'd like to build a curbless shower with no slope. I have an apartment project for persons with disabilities. In a stall shower, the plumbing code requires the floor be sloped one quarter (1/4) of an inch per foot in order to carry the water effectively to the drain. My contractor has just ripped out my shower floor because it was very uneven.
